You only realize how much of a pleb you are when you make a top 50 chart with only one album per artist. Chart thread I guess.
>>71798657
That's the way it should be done. It really defeats the purpose if you just post the whole Genesis discography and just slap 200+ Pink Floyd live bootlegs there with them...
>applying bullshit rules to making something as inconsequential as a chart
Your chart's already pretty heavily leaning towards certain genres, so why not artists as well? I'll be fucked if I'm making a top 50/100 chart and only having Spirit of Eden or Laughing Stock on it when it's fairly obvious that both would be on there in actuality in at least 95% of cases.

That would be going to far the other way, a middle ground is fine. If I limit myself to just one, then I would be skipping albums I really love and replacing it with something I like but I don't love for the sake of filling out the chart. That doesn't then mean I will put a whole band's discography of 5+ albums on there for example, but limiting to 2 albums by the same artist/band (maybe 3 at the very most) is a good middle ground/compromise I reckon.

I think you mean peasant, saying someone is pleasant is a compliment. Also that is not a bad album to be fair to the guy.
>>71799878
I thought he meant pleasant = pleb
you might think my chart is shit but I guarantee I get more pussy than all of you. there is nothing wrong with ska

So is that Fishmans live album fundamentally different from the rest of their work? The rest of their stuff was hit or miss for me but I'd be willing to give them another shot.

I see a lot of older Jeff Rosenstock fans saying they prefer his debut more, but I can't really get into it. Am I missing something, or are they just they just being contrarian?
>>71798657
Pretty good. Not much for Milo Goes to College but it's good, I just can't get into it.

hi so am i pleb. what is even pleb by /mu/ standard?
>>71800739
Jeff Rosenstock is my fav artist and I am extremely happy that Worry has gotten him such attention but Vacation by Bomb the Music Industry! accomplishes the same punk-y power pop way better. Vacation is like if every track on Worry was as fast, upbeat and catchy as I Did Something Weird Last Night, Wave Goodnight to Me and Pash Ash

Subjective depending on the person. If it's mainstream and not considered "Patrician" or "A classic" then you're automatically a pleb. You're not a pleb though. Fishmans is goat. And stop lazyfagging you homo.
