Convinced that this may be the greatest album of all time. Great story for a concept album, amazing production, every song is great, his delivery is unique and memorable the instrumentals and especially the bass lines throughout this album are supreme. It is almost like a gift to humanity from the star men. A glimmer of hope for the future.

Whats wrong anon?
t. i didn't listen to bowie before blackstar
>>71753883
its actually INCREDIBLY overrated. try Tonight or Labyrinth.

Black star was special in its own way. It was an emotional roller-coaster for life long bowie fans. I remember getting my collectable translucent vinyl late by a couple days and he was already gone. The album itself is a reflection on his career and his effect on the world and pop culture. Its about his acceptance of mortal death but his immortality as an idol and a charismatic pop culture icon. Black star isnt a bad album to start on anon

My gripe with Ziggy Stardust is that you have an original story, concise concept and the result gets transformed into
>>71753883
lighthearted singalong tunes in which lyrics can be very easily overlooked. While some tracks are cold and far away from lighthearted, the concept is lost on me. As you can gather, I'm not a fan of Bowie's pop albums.
lol too bad its getting beat by banana in /mu/madness

I don't know if it's best of all time but it surely is up there. It's solid all around.
