Absolution is great
I'm a Conor Oberst fan, but the later Bright Eyes albums were lacking. Ruminations was pretty good, though.
Either way, most /mu/core artists went on to become mediocre, so who knows.

conor oberst is just a poor mans elliott smith - which in turn is a poor mans nick drake...
i wonder if he would become /mu/ core if he killed himself.

I don't know. I think all three of those artists have something unique to offer. And Conor would have had to do it in 2005 to Kurt Cobain himself.

best muse album, better than OOS
maybe not to become /mu/core, but I wish more people on this board appreciated Biffy Clyro
their first trilogy was great alternative rock with Mineral-style hardcore and even prog influences.
they've become more radio-friendly now but still put out some decent and interesting tunes in their records

But Froot is her best album

I like Biffy and even enjoy their more poppy albums from Puzzle onwards, but Elipsis was totally mediocre.

No, she's a sellout shit how can't accept that she'll never be successful. TFJ is her only good album because she didn't only care about charting back then and her voice wasn't ruined by smoking.
