Peaked with their debut, Contra is shit and this one has some nice songs.

this is a cool album, would be better if 1/3 of the songs didn't sound the same, but it's fun. Their debut is unquestionably their best. Contra has some nice songs too, but overall it is weak due to the lack of lyrical and melodic consistence.

The s/t is a literal 10/10 and decades from now will be seen as a high-water mark of 2000's indie the way that we now talk about Pet Sounds or Who's Next.

It's so much better than anything else they've done that it's not even worth trying to compare them.
