I agree its better than Painting With, but I still think its among their worst albums

Yeah I considered it their worst for a long time. I didn't think it'd be possible for them to go lower than CHz, yet here we are.

Definitely better than PW, but still among their lower tier material. Even so, it was a pretty gud tour, and New Town Burnout is still a standout in their repertoire

Pulley is the best song on hz

great album. amanita, father time, moonjock, and new town burnout are all 10/10 songs. only real bad track is pulleys.

Pulleys was undoubtedly one of their best live songs during this era

It's a fantastic album and I would rate it on the same level as Strawberry Jam.

It's also their most diverse thematically.

Btw listen to it in Vinyl. It's either mixed or mastered differently and feels far more spacious as to all the various sounds and effects that the album is drenched in.

Also Mercury Man and Pulleys are mad underrated. The entire second half of CHz is spectacular. Amanita in particular is one of the best paying tracks the band has done.

Listen to more music gay wads.
