don't you feel bad knowing that whites stole EVERYTHING from the greatest artists and got credit for it?
>implying come together wasn't stolen

Improved upon it*

>bluesy chord progression and singing
>"stolen"
And chuck stole it from guitarists before him. When will this meme end?
>>71668249
Show me a Chuck Berry song that sounds like Strawberry Fields Forever
Can we stop with this Whitey stole from Blackey meme already?
>>71668249
I have a serious question, why do people criticize someone like Elvis so much for stealing and watering down black music, but someone like Ray Charles only gets praise for stealing and watering down white music?

>"I see nothing wrong with artists monopilizing previous artists work and gaining fame from it"
Also, blacks did rock n roll better
well iggy ruined being black for people
>>71668392
Ooops you didn't show me a Chuck Berry song that sounds like Strawberry Fields Forever.
Try again

To be fair, I think the Beatles/Chuck Berry comparison is flawed because in reality, the people who The Beatles, Neil Young and Bob Dylan thought was the Jesus Christ returned of music was Elvis...sure, that music can be sourced to black music, but you can't criticize them for it, because they were inspired by Elvis

rock n roll is the blacks' genre. 60s and 70s british invasion bands sound nothing like 50s black rock n' rock bands.
not the same genre.
>>71668392
Blacks are also better in sports, whats your point?
>>71668392
The greatest flaw in this argument is that both Chuck Berry and The Beatles exist entirely on their own and are very popular artists. You people act like chuck is some underground hipster gem that never was big. No one is going to deny african american influence on rock n roll but it's just stupid to criticize other artists saying they "stole" the genre from them
