Head Down is definitely the best SG song
Superunknown is such a superb album.

I consider this album more Alternative Doom.
Stone Temple Pilots definitely doesn't deserve as much hate as it gets on this board. Tiny Music is a great album.

Don't worry about showing me older stuffs, SG is my favorite band. They and Skin Yard were the best sounds of Seattle

It never was a musical "style" as far as I can see.
Personally I never considered Nirvana as grunge.
Pearl Jam survived and evolved.

well yeah, they were more punk influenced, soundgarden drew inspiration from zeppelin and sabbath, alice in chains was more metal, etc.
it was an umbrella term for all the big stuff happening at the time in seattle.

I belong to the ones who believe that Grunge was a genre. I mean look at Return To Olympus, Bleach, Ultramega OK, etc. Those albums have a very distinguishable sound. I agree that Ten or Superunknown have very little to do with what is called Grunge, but don't tell me it's not a genre to itself.
