Don't mine me, just being the best song ever written.
sorry, did you mean to post 1979?

By Starlight is the greatest song on the album. There's a lot of filter towards the end of the second disk but that song redeems it all.

i love the sequence of cute songs in the end of the album
>>71626204
idk, theyre a bit too tame after the extreme heaviness of XYU
>>71626225
thats why i love it
Jellybelly is the best SP song of all time, but it's made even better by placing Mellon Collie and Tonight Tonight right before it. Makes it seem more startling and frenetic.

I love that track too, but it's actually super polarizing. I've seen people talk about how much they hate it.
>>71626952
At the very least it does have the best drumming on all of Mellon Collie.
Today is the best SP song
>>71626975
That part starting at 2:05 with the ascending guitars is one of my favorite SP moments ever
I love Jellybelly. One of their easier songs to play on guitar too
>>71626952
how can someone hate jellybelly??
very few bands can make a song noisy like that be so fluid
>That moment when farewell and goodnight transitions into a reprise of the MCIS opening theme, bringing the full 2 hour album full circle.
One of the greatest albums ever desu
