I went to a Sunn show last year and was in the front row and I didn't wear earplugs at all. Most of their sound is just bass. I didn't have ANY ringing in my ears the day after.

If you show up early enough I guarantee you'll get the chance to meet Attila. Every show of his I go to, no matter which band he's touring in, he always just walks right out front of the building and chills out with the fans, or walks to his bus and lets everybody shake his hand and get a photo if they want. I was lucky enough to be able to chat with him the first time I saw him for a good 10 minutes, the second time I met him he was walking past everybody and hanging out.

They put on such a show, they're very theatrical with their "sound-worshipping druids" act but it never feels cheesy or stupid. They'll flood the place with smoke, play some skull-crushing drone (the studio albums don't even begin to compare, it's a visceral experience), then Attila will do some spooky chanting (and I won't ruin the last part but it's very cool).
You know the comic where a guy puts on Black One and starts staring into space drooling? That's what it's like.
Bring earplugs but you probably won't need them. It's not loud in a "this hurts my ears" way, it's loud in that it feels like your bones are liquefying.
Big Brave are pretty good too, I assume that's who they're touring with.
