Denzel has been a contender for a long time.

G Herbo only started getting better once he moved away from the drill and into his own thing

Dave East is still under the radar. Independently he's not much to listen to but compared to the rest of the class he's definitely a heavy hitter (which isn't saying much IMO)

And Lil Dicky is only good when he's actually taking things kinda serious and not actively trying to be a cornball rapper.

Additionally, Kodak Black is a young legend. He hasn't released one trash project yet, and Tunnel Vision is hip hop's next big single. 2017 is his year.
Desiigner has great potential (in terms of voice, flow, energy etc), but New English was a total misfire. If he links up with the right producers and mangers though, his ceiling is limitless.
Yachty and 21 are kind of trash but they're talented enough to be carried by strong production and guest features.
Paak is overrated (just look up any clip of him singing live, his voice is thin and weak) but in a studio setting he puts out some smooth tracks.
