Just curious, how familiar are you with rock music? The genre gets a lot more mellow than the bands you mentioned... But yeah you might like 'Silent Alarm' by Bloc Party or 'Marquee Moon' by Television.
The National and Interpol are obvious ones

I'm not really familar I'll be honest, usually what I listen to when I go for rock is like hard rock or metal where they're usually yelling, screaming/screeching and being aggressive in both music and singing. So bands like Arcade Fire and Killers feel really soft, slow and mellow in comparison. I've been listening to Modern Man and Reasons Unknown on repeat
