Creepy is a bit of an understatement. Even if it's not really a "scary" album, Beware the Friendly Stranger makes me genuinely uncomfortable in a difficult to explain way, Gyroscope is very intense, and while the album lightens up a bit in the second half, it never really returns to the normal "distant and nostalgic" sound of BoC, it has more of a pressured and uncomfortable feel.
If Music has the Right to Children is the pleasant parts of nostalgia, Geogaddi is the pressing fear of what comes next and the clinging to past positive memories.

All this being said, it's not nearly as intense as something like Suicide or most industrial, but it's a pretty heavy album.
