Although rarely if never discussed on /mu/, Neurofunk is the most rewarding, funky, unique, engaging, stimulating and technologically innovative genre of music in existence. Thoughts?

That's just silly. If you changed "music" to "EDM" then that statement might be closer to the truth. It does sound pretty cool.

This is called Drum n Bass, and we've had it for a very long time. Look into 90's Jungle and so forth. This is silly. It's like when bros got a hold of dubstep, and acted like it was some new thing, when everyone outside the rave and electronic scene, kind of ignored it, for a good twenty years.

Are you saying that jungle is relevant in 2017? I'm well aware of the roots of drum and bass, Neurofunk is a subgenre of it that's become an entity of it's own. Jungle can't hold a fucking candle to neurofunk, at all. No one is making jungle anymore. IF there are any people still making jungle they're stuck in the past or washed up hacks. eat shit. You're apart of the problem with the DNB scene, you're afraid of advancement and you look at the past with rose tinted goggles. If you jungle fucks would just stop splinter grouping and actually look into the future of DNB we'd have many more shows, raves, and scenes developing. I'm tired of hearing the same sample / break chopped and sliced to infinity along with those awful bongo sounds. Go fucking move to a tribe or something you backwards fuck.

Not gonna lie, much preferred Current Value's older and heavier stuff... that's not to say I don't really like this because I do.
I just remember going to breakcore/gabba raves years back and catching a Current Value set that melted my face off... was a fucking amazing set.

gabber lol
didn't like cv's older stuff just because it sounded like it was mixed so poorly, there wasnt any space in his tracks for any of the elements to breathe or any pause so theres no groove. atleast he's shaping up now.
