Hey /mu/
I've been given the arduous task of putting together a playlist for my university's library, as my buddy just set up a working sound system for it. Any suggestions?
I've got some Miles Davis, Nujabes, Albatrosh, Chick Corea, Tortoise, Nick Drake, and other non-vocal jazz type stuff already, anything along that vein or otherwise is welcome.

Why would you want to play music in a library?

Make that shit sound like a British documentary. Aphex Twin tracks from SAW2, Boards of Canada, Mouse on Mars

Most use it as an area to study, and find a laid back background groove to be relaxing. It won't extend to the entire space in case others do not want this.
Basil Kirchin is nice. GL anon

The first two tracks when played in succession would be perfect

Haven't heard of these before, but I'm enjoying them myself now. Don't exactly think it'd be suitable for the setting I'm aiming for though.

I listened to Quantum and Worlds between Worlds, is there an alternate work by him that would be more suitable?

Nice Choices.

Although I quite like the work, I'd like the background groove to be a bit busier.
