its a well known defect with the way the needle pushes against the groove. apparently linear tracking vs angle tracking fixes it. if you dont believe me, record the last minute of any final track on that side, and compare the quality to the first minute of the first track on that side.

I have records where the last song on each sounds like the rest of the songs, but also a few shitty ones where they get unlistenable at the last song on each side
