So how long do you guys think its gonna be until Pitchfork stops covering "independent" music completely? I just visited the site for the first time in probably over a year and it just feels different. Maybe its just me but I used to really appreciate that place, they showed me a lot of good music even if their reviews are written like shit.

>>

it's interesting how music culture has moved away from the internet. DIY underground shit used to get heavy blog coverage but now blogs have largely died out. The homogenization and commercialization of the internet has made the underground truly underground once again.

vaporwave is the true underground.
>>
>>71395040
vaporwave got ruined by the ifunny meme kids

If you don't know what's groovy, you're not a part of it.
>>
>>71395070
I know what's groovy (in punk, anyway), I'm just saying there's no longer many major aggregators for it. Even with the few punk blogs out there, only a couple are really given attention, one of which is soon-to-be-defunct.

>>71395181
No, you really don't. Name one club that plays loungecore in the UK.
>>
Online promotion is so fucking hard now. Fuck pitchfork, fuck major labels, fuck jews.
>>
>>71395390
I'm not in the UK you fuckin retard and I don't give a rat's ass about the shite dance music it vomits out
>>
>>71395512
In other words, you're not part of our underground and don't even know what it is. It's not modern music at all.

This is the kind of music we get down to. Was a big revival in the mid-nineties.
