Bossa Nova is another genre that aims to stimulate the same particular emotion evoked by the two songs you have posted. The album I'm fixated on right now has several songs in it that stimulate the emotion quite effectively. My favorite is at the 21:50 mark, guaranteed to milk a feeling.
