I am literally the only one I personally know that listens to Emerson Lake and Palmer. Karn Evil 9 will always be one of the best songs out there that nobody I know will ever know about.

Statistically, you are certain to know at least one or two people who know about Brain Salad Surgery. They might not be your age, but whatever. Get different friends, if shared taste really matters to you, which it shouldn't.

My mom was an ELP fangirl when they were big. They were probably the biggest rock star prog band after Pink Floyd.

I'm a Pacific islander. Basically everybody around me that I grew up with and the community around us all, mostly listen to reggae music and Hawaiian jams, so it's highly unlikely I will find anyone around me that loves this kind of music. Shared taste doesn't really bother me, I'm not keen on making new friends anyway.
Even though radio is irrelevant today, Karn Evil 9 has gotten regular airplay since its release. It's probably ELP's most popular song after maybe Lucky Man. The album cover is pretty dope too.
tarkus is my shit but bss and trilogy have some good moments. I heard you turn me on at a grocery store i used to work at.
