So i finally listened to this and..... I FUCKING LOVE IT
What other albums or bands/artists sound like this? Please no Frank Zappa i know his catalog and i don't like it very much.
Hampton Grease Band - Music To Eat

The Pop Group - Y
Well it doesn't sound like it but you would probably like Faust
Why people prefer this over Zappa is confusing to me.
>>71369976
Because /mu/ is full of contrarians who would rather pick the worse of 2 choices, so long as if it was more obscure
>>71369976
>People having opinions that arent the same as everyone elses, what fucking posers
Gorguts - Obscura
>>71369976
cause the music is disjointed in a fun way and it doesnt have joke pop choruses thrown in to ruin good parts like were only in it for the money and absolutely free. Beefhearts singing and lyrics are kind of funny and thought provoking at times plus the skits feel like they actually add to the album

My man
>>71369976
The fact you can actually compare them musically is what's confusing to me.
Henry Cow
>>71370454
his voice is off-putting at first, but it doesn't take long for his charisma to shine through
>>71371841
Listen to Safe As Milk and Shiny Beast as well
>>71371932
its alright but theres a lot of moments where his music would benefit from just not having vocals at all imo. Thats why stuff like hot rats, waka jawaka and lumpy gravy is so highly regarded
