They're both just as bad as each other. Many of the people making edm/sampled hip shit are worse imo because they have the illusion of seeming good when musically, they are devoid of any ideas at all. If you check soundcloud and bandcamp threads you'll notice that most people don't even actually make *songs*, as in a song with a real sense of progression and a beginning, middle and end. More like just a loop that they add/take stuff out of over the course of 2 minutes (of course you can't make a very long song with this kind of structure). But then again, noise and random bullshit artists also have the "i'm just so advanced you don't even understand why i'm good" attitude that is annoying as shit. I'm sure my attitude here seems annoying in and of itself as well.
