If you would like me to start you off: to myself, all of the emotions and means of expression in both Suicide - S/T and Foetus - Nail are genuinely hyper-realistic in their depictions of hopelessness, dread, and self-loathing. Each of those descriptors are extreme states of mind, and both albums listed interprets those extremities differently, yet nonetheless both are at the razor edge of one's day-to-day emotional spectrum -- therefore being provocative.

This argument being laid out, I hardly see how either of these albums are 'nihilistic', as they are both genuine expressions of the universal human experience of suffering
