>couple months into learning Japanese
>Fishmans sounds better
>Midori sounds better
>Taeko sounds better
woah

I would learn that meme language just to enjoy Fishmans more.
>>71313382
Crazy how language comprehension works. It actually ruins some artists
>Midori didn't sound top tier to him even before knowing japanese
Fucking pleb weeb.

>NAITU KURUSSIIIIINNNNGGGGGGG
Isn't Japanese like incredibly literal, how do they do poetry and romance
>>71313399
Yes. I was raised bilingual and speak a few other languages, as most other Euros do. You wouldn't believe how corny some of the lyrics are of songs that Amerifats praise.
>走ってる 走ってる 走ってる 走ってる
>HASHITERUHASHITERUHASHITERU
>RUNRUNRUNRUNRUNRUNRUN
>HASHITERUHASHITERUHASHITERU
>走ってる 走ってる 走ってる 走ってる

If anything, Japanese is so vague that when they actually speak directly, you really understand how serious the situation is.
>>71313382
How do I start learning Japanese? I want to go make some dub music in Tokyo then move to Hokkaido and be an old man.
>>71313492
It's just when you see things translated literally it sounds so dumb and basic
>>71313429
It's an incredibly poetic language. The last thing I would call Japanese is literal.
>>71313525
Yes, but that's because it's hard to translate, hence far from literal.
>>71313429
nigger there are centuries of Japanese poetry
>>71313382
Also, this happens with literature but it's 10x better.
>>71313459
huh?
>>71313382
i have a theory that because it takes that much more mental energy to interpret and because I havent been inured to Japanese literary cliches I have more moments where the lyrical content "clicks" or seems to be more profound.
but also to a degree I think that the vagaries and relatively rich connotative nature of the language makes it pretty evocative. but again maybe im just biased because its a foreign language for me. but also how could one attempt to measure and compare in any quantifiable way the poetic potential for a language thats super dumb
