who else /tinnitus/ here??
Mine is extremely minimal now, but I imagine it will only get worse
Every now and then I get a few seconds' worth of ringing in my right ear. Terrified that it will just not go away someday.
My friend has it, and he can't even hear some frequencies in some songs.

Yeah, but not from music, from jet aircraft. Turn it down and get some earplugs for shows. Don't make it worse, you'll want to kys at some point, don't wait until they start popping, it's not too late.

Oh I know man, I'm being careful from now on.

Same. I'm trying my hardest to keep it minimal.
I carry earplugs pretty much everywhere I go
I aspire to become a recording engineer/producer, tinnitus is probably just getting worse and worse through out the years
I have it ever since I was a lad. Never heard silence in my entire life. Now I also hear some white noise. :-(.

that happens to everyone, myself included
I have loud tinnitus but I don't mind it. Am I alone?
Pretty bad tinnitus here, but even worse my Eustachian tune got clogged up this winter. I just got over it. Reminder to clear out your sinuses every once in a while, the Eustachian tube connects your face sinuses to your inner ear and regulates the pressure. I somehow Let it get clogged up to the point where it punched a nerve I spent the last two months listening to Eb in my left ear it drove me fucking insane.

I actually have it pretty bad to the point that I don't know the last time i've heard silence. I can put on noise cancelling ear phones and still hear a very sharp, clear distinct ringing. As I'm typing this though, I've started taking ritalin and I can't hear it and It's amazing.
