What are good some bands that play noisy and aggressively but are also melodic. Like Dinosaur Jr/Sonic Youth/Pavement/Unwound. Like somewhere between post-hardcore and indie I guess
Modest Mouse, Thinking Fellers Union Local 282, Trumans Water, Yo La Tengo, Polvo, Swirlies, Lync, Cap'n Jazz, Mercury Rev

ARCHERS OF LOAF is the only band you need for that. Vee Vee and Icky Mettle are the 2 classic albums. Icky mettle is 94% on metatctitic and vee vee is 86% (but IMO much better). the other 2 Archers albums have at least 2 classic songs and a handful of great/good ones.
