Does anyone really consider nightcore a real genre?

I mean, vaporware gets a ton of flak for the same shit, but they usually add different instrumentation and make something unique to the source material.

I don't think I've ever heard a nightcore song that wasn't just some song with nothing else done but having it sped up.
