What genre/band has guitars that sound like the ones on Turned Off, Beyond Alive, and On GP?

>Wait, I thought you guys said shugazi as in meme form of fugazi, wtf is shugazi?
The meme form of Shoegaze, but we also use it to refer to the umbrella of Shoegaze, Dream Pop, Noise Pop, Blackgaze.
Also wtf, did you think we had general threads for fugazi or something?

haha, I still have to check out sunbather or whatever bc i see it everywhere. I'd be up for some 'me and thumbelina' memes tho
Taking over the thread to see if anyone knows anything that sounds like "Hollow Roots" by Wormrot. Most other tracks on the new album have a more traditional "Grindy" tone to the guitars, but something is slightly different about Hollow Roots.
The dissonance there makes me think of second wave Black Metal, but it's very rythmic and there's something unique about it.

Do you not know about deafheaven?
>>71246355
Deafheaven is based in black metal
Black metal isn't really heavy, just loud and fast

How do you define heavy? Down tuned guitars?
>>71246445
Well yea, Black Sabbath was just blues rock with downtuned and more distorted guitars
