Is it really as bad as everyone says?
Also post favorite Daft Punk song
>>
>>71218609
probably Robot Rock at the moment.
>>
>>71218609
No, I'd argue it's their best work. RAM was dissapointing though.
>>
>>71218609
Homework > Human After All > Discovery > RAM > Tron Legacy
>>
>>71218609
Also spawned one of the best live albums ever.
>>
Not bad but not their best. My favorite song by them has always been and will always be Technologic
>>
enormously disappointing, especially when it came out, having said that, there are a few great tracks and it would have worked better as an EP, excising the purposely grating tracks
>>
its ok but listen to the live album
>>
>>71218609
Face to face.

If it were mix, it's the prime time of your life/Brainwasher/Alive/Burnin'
>>
>>71218907
Nice bait
>Discovery 3rd
>>
Discovery > Homework > HAA > RAM
Haven't listened to the other stuff
People always say I should listen to alive 07 but idk how much different a live album can be for that kind of music
>>
>>71221558
Forgot to say
Favorite is probably Too Long right now but favorites change all the time
Fav from HAA is Prime Time of Your Life hands down though
>>
Why the fuck does this board hate RAM so much? Its a top 20 album for this decade.
>>
>>71219740
Did I say Discovery was bad?
No. Learn reading comprehension.
>>
>>71221589
LOL
>>
>>71221589
It's boring compared to their other work

Top 20 for the decade maybe if you've listened to 20 albums this decade
>>
>>71221589
lole
>>
>>71221602
Triggered
>>
>>71221558
Discovery will always be my favourite. The first 4 tracks are unbelievably good.
>>
>>71221558
>but idk how much different a live album can be for that kind of music
What about listening to the album and seeing by yourself? Dude, you definitely should check Alive.
>>
>>71221619
Compared to their other work it's second only to Discovery
>>
Da Funk
>>
>>71218609
Discovery > RAM > HAA > Homework > Tron

Fight me
>>
Discovery>Tron>RAM>HAA>Homework
>>
>>71221892
b8 detected.
>>
Digital Love
>>
>>71221678
No love for crescendolls?
>>
>>71221892
This has to be bait
>>
>>71218609
No but it's mediocre, that being said Make Love and Emotion are in their top 10

Also Too Long is the best daft punk song
>>
>>71218609
It's mediocre, but it ain't bad.
For an album that was reportedly written and recorded in two weeks it sounds pretty alright.
>>
not as bad as everyone says

favorite songs:
short circuit/face to face (alive 2007)
>>
daft punk invented edm
>>
>>71218609
has some of their best songs..make love, television, technologic, robot rock, etc..
>>
>>71218609
Alive 2007>Discovery>Homework>Human after All>Alive 1997>Random Access Memories>Tron
>>
>>71222176
not him but cresendolls and superheroes are my absolute favorites
>>
>>71221558
>being this much of a fucking pleb.
listen to fucking 07', it's the best!
>>
>>71222605
oh wow what an achievement
>>
>>71218609

Human After All was a bunch of 15 second snippets of great songs looped over and over again.
>>
It's amazing on its own for its sound design and catchiness, especially given that it was assembled in a matter of weeks, and of course it was made into one of the greatest pieces of electronic music ever in Alive 2007.
>>
>>71224678
Isn't that every non RAM Daft Punk song?
>>
>>71224788
No, Human After All was much more minimalistic. There was real progression on the songs on Discovery, and even Homework had some prog-house style progression. I still like HAA tho.
>>
>>71224664
kek.
