Can't blame them desu
Anyway isn't that how vaporwave and samples get mad?
Looping the best part
>>71218191
>normies listen to a song
>they skip to the hook
>they play it for 30 seconds
>everybody starts clapping
>it never ends
>>71218215
Sampling songs goes back to the late 70's. Fuck vaporwave.
I do this when I want to get a grasp of an album but don't want to listen to the whole thing at that moment
>>71218215
>Anyway isn't that how vaporwave and samples get mad?
>Looping the best part
your point is
>normies start listening to a song
>you can tell the bitrate is shitty
>>71218275
>hear some people listening to harsh noise
>realize they're just normies listening to RADIOHEAD_WONDER_WALL_[YT2MP3].mp2 at 2kbps
>>71218191
>normies are animals for instant gratification
shocker
>normies start listening to a song
>after 1 minute of listening : "sorry not my style"
>normie friend immediately discards any music that is dark, angry or aggressive
>also can't listen to any hip hop with autotune eventhough he enjoys autotune pop
fucking hell it pisses me off sometimes. i put on a song and he discards it in less than 10 seconds because he's decided beforehand he can't like certain types of music
>normie thinks anything innovative is "weird"
>normie tries to pretend like they have taste but they don't
>qt normie tells you about a semi obscure band he likes
>immediately imagine the life you could build together

What really is to a song. Verse Chorus chorus chorus
The usual song can essentially be cut down to 30-60 seconds due to the fact that 75% of the song is the same chorus repeated. It really bothers me that this is how songs are made, its so lazy.
>>71218556
hey man 192kbps is fine
>>71219492
Stop listening to pop
>>71219561
>Stop listening to pop, rap, most rock music, and most metal music.
k
>>71219594
seriously, listen to artists with more interesting song structures.
>>71219524
it isn't really, but that's beside the point because you misread my shitpost ya dingus
I said 2kbps
>>71219594
Yes, do exactly that. The fact that most musicians in those genres are doing it doesn't make it any less garbage.
>>71219594
>Stop listening to trash, trash, mostly trash, and somewhat trash music
What's the problem?
when normies hear anything that isnt pop
>'just because its experimental dosnt make it good'
>>71219673
That is true though, they've got your number.
>>71218191
GOSH DARN NORMIES REEE!
>>71219446
painfully relatable
>>71219446
I do this
>normie radio station happens to play a song you like
>they cut it off at the guitar solo outro
>>71220996
>Song has an interesting, slow intro before the verse kicks off
>radio version starts at the verse

i havnt skipped a song in years
I always try to listen non-stop for at least 1-2 minutes before I decide to skip further or skip the song entirely, unless instructed otherwise.
If someone tells me to "listen to this thing, don't skip it", then I don't.
It really triggers me when people "fuck you man I wanna listen to 1 second every 30 seconds and then decide".
I once forced my brother to listen to this thing for more than 45 seconds, and he went from "really, do I have to? I really dont want to"
all the way to
"Wow, That's actually something I like!" (I know what he likes and this was 10 years ago)

Happened to me 8 years ago
>be in high school
>end of the year
>teenage band plays some songs to celebrate the last day of school
>mostly famous songs
>The public (mostly 13 yo normies) only reacts to a cover of Seven Nation Army
>the band realizes how cool they look
>only plays this riff for almost an hour nonstop
>basically what they play is not Seven Nation Army because the singer don't sing anymore, it's really just the main riff in loop
I can't stand this song.

>>71219402
God, I fucking hate these.
>>71218191
>normies listen to song that isn't top 40 garbage
>wow what drugs where they on when they made this lol
>>71218191
>be in car with older sister
>"yo lil bro hand me the aux cable"
>she plays niggers songs
>she sings along with it

>>71218588
Hey, at least they listened for a whole minute.
I personally know that many tunes use a minute for the intro before the "real thing" kicks off, so I always try to stay for at least 2 minutes before triggering my "fuck this shit".
This friggen thing has a 2:30 intro before the actual drum&bass / vocals kick in:

mfw my friends think radiohead is too "weird" and would rather listen to coldplay.
>>71219524
it isn't. I use $20 HD201's and the difference between 320 and 192 is EXTREMELY audible.
