britfag /mu/tants only i need your help
what festivals are there that suit people with an actual music taste?
i was gonna go to leeds this year but the lineup means i definitely won't be because i wouldn't enjoy it for the stupid high ticket price
there's always better alternatives it's just finding them
pls help a brother out
pic only very slightly related
I'm planning on going to end of the road festival
the lineup is decent the headliners are car seat headrest, alvvays, Mac de Marco and the Jesus and Mary chain I think ty segall are there as well
Tickets are £150 for the weekend which isn't terrible. Not quite as good as last year though
lots of drugs there too if your into that
Supersonic, Raw Power, and Safe As Milk if you're able to travel.
Green Man usually has a solid lineup, though this year it doesn't look quite as good. If you count non-camping Field Day looks great this year (as it does every year) but you'd probably have to sort London accommodation.
Reading and Leeds looks terrible this year, even by its usual standards
Field Day and End of The Road look good, haven't researched much this year, need to get shit organised
related q, what are some good cheap foreign fests that don't cost too much to get to

Basically these, but I'd also recommend looking at the Transformer festival in Manchester, which is only a one day thing but seems like a really good line-up for it's price

wtf that looks awesome, gonna try and convince my mates that the day trips worth it

oh yeah got a ticket for that for swans before the rest got announced, cosmosis in manchester last year was fucking solid too
Dunno about the lineup for it this year but usually ArcTanGent is decent
Y Not festival is great and cheap. Also go Boomtown if you like drugs and fireworks.
