What is it with math-rock and green tinted album art covers of midwestern houses?

That's the only occurence of this within that genre ya goon. Also Don Caballero>>>>>>>>>>>>>AF
>>71168773
Don Cab refuses to be called math rock
>>71168773
Idk but the AF cover always made me feel nostalgic for some reason

Holy shit. Thought I was the only one.
The first song mixed with the album cover reminds me of how I pictured high school when I was 10 or something.

Niggu those albums were released 10 years apart, that cover has to be a nod to AF.
>Modern Baseball
For fucks sake... this shit is just too obvious

i'd want to distance myself from a scene i helped ruin
This must be the work of an enemy stand

Fucking delet this
Man midwestern math rock sucks so much. I'm so glad Hella came around and saved the genre from certain death
>>71168804
Both good for different reasons. I think American Football are better songwriters, but obviously Don Caballero are super rhythmically interesting and crazy
>>71172816
Almost got me. Hella are cool but are pretty pleb tier math

I'm actually being serious but I think my post could read as bait. They only have one "entry level" album and even that is pretty fantastic. Their noisier stuff is absolutely based and I can't think of any better math that doesn't fall completely into the noise rock category.

I made that post and I can agree with this
