How long after sending a demo to a record label does the label usually respond? If they're interested of course.
>>71159352
they won't ever respond
>>71159352
just gonna let you know there's no way your demo is any good and any label you send it to won't respond.
you have to go play shows a shit ton in your city and do small tours and meet the right people for anyone to take any interest. it's all nepotism.
there are of course anomalies (car seat headrest) but that's not going to happen to you
>>71159352
they won't respond and now they're going to steal your material
>>71159352
never
>>71159352
unless its captured tracks
don't bother sending demos
>>71159352
Jello Biafra label claims to accept demos, but I wouldn't trust this, I recommend just post on Bandcamp by your own
fuck labels, most new artists nowadays develop their fanbase via bandcamp and stuff
>>71159515
It actually was captured tracks
>>71160096
oh idk might not have been good.
he usually responds
but try the bandcamp route lad
>>71160119
Yeah I think it's a little bit more electronic than they usually go for
Which I think partly is the issue with going to labels with this particular demo
>>71159352
never ever
>>71159352
They put it in a box in a closet and never listen to it.
