How come this is listed on the essential /mu/core jazz section?

I'm not very big on jazz but try listening to it and forming your own opinion

i did not know this was considered actually good, but i have listened to it multiple times because cowboy bebop has one of the best soundtracks i have ever heard in a cartoon.
i'm not sure this would be as impactful if you hadn't watched / enjoyed the (real good) cartoon, though

Bebop was the second anime I watched after Evangelion and while I didn't like it as much I still thought it was really fucking good. Definitely worth a watch if you haven't seen it.

Probably not ever gonna be a hallmark of jazz or particularly infulential- but it's a lot of fun and it brings back good memories

It is a usual first step for this boards average demographic, due to it's association with the classic anime.

never watched the anime but its a nice, accessible soundtrack with a surprising amount of variety. not worth much if you're already into jazz but it's a good introduction
