>tfw completely and utterly untalented at singing and any sort of instrument

You practice playing an instrument, not starting out as talented.
>>71121556
And what about for singing?
>>71121567
Why do you want to sing? I never wanted to, so I don't know about that.
>>71121607
Because I love listening to people sing and wish I could be that good
But I'm in an entry level class and the professor is giving me like elementary school songs to help me learn how to pitch match while everyone else is getting a singular normal song to work on together. He's offered my private lessons for free as well to help me get better, but I can tell he's just getting annoyed at how bad I am, with him mashing the same key on the piano when I fuck up.

you know you can take singing lessons as well right? There is a "right" way to sing
>>71122435
I've been trying to get the teacher to give me some names of anyone he knows that does private lessons so I can do that on top of my class but he keeps thinking I mean classes for other semesters
>>71121567
It's the same. You think some children are born operatic maestros?
>>71122485
do they not have craigslist in your city?
>>71121515
Didn't stop Lou Reed, Jeff mangum, animal collective, or talking heads

jeff mangum is definitely not a bad singer. the strength in his high notes is astonishing.
