I really would like to find more work by the guitarist on this album, but its pretty hard to find as I don't know greek. Apparently he had a solo career.

The most underrated prog giant ever.

What went wrong?
prog for hipster try-hards, a few interesting moments bogged down by endless bullshit

Meh
>>71107567
no but he is pretty spot on.
I mean i was enjoying the nice guitar work at the start and more classical rock elements but still getting hit with alot of filler. Then that orgasm part comes on and it just fucks the whole thing up. desu i was laughing my ass off because it just went on and on.
>>71107647
I guess it's not for everyone. I enjoyed it.
>>71107721
yeh i guess im just destined to never like prog.
>>71107767

"∞" ("Infinity"), the most controversial song on the album, consists ofIrene Papaschanting "I was, I am, I am to come" over a sparse percussion track, gradually building into an orgasmic frenzy. Vangelis described the track as conveying "the pain of birth and the joy of intercourse."Ferris originally sought a narrator with a heavy British accent to recite the lyric, in order to create a contrast with the climactic frenzy, but Papas' improvisation was chosen instead because it made a stronger impression. Hegarty and Halliwell describe the song as part of the "increased cacophony" that marks the progression towards the apocalypse.Melody Makerremarked in 1972 that in light of the publicity received bySerge Gainsbourg's "Je t'aime... moi non plus", it was "odd" that the media overlooked666, but that it would have been a "pity" if it achieved notoriety solely due to Papas' contribution. A sample of Papas taking sharp breaths was used in Enigma's"Principles Of Lust".

I just listened to 666 for the first time and I'm only really familiar with entry-level prog but I thought that part was really well done. It goes a little long but I thought it was going to be really cringey and it ended up being very powerful.
Ask a Greek Hellinas anything.

not many. Selling England by the pound, this, yes CTTE, Pink Floyd, magma, future days. I guess i'm interested in finding something with more of a subtle style, less epic if you know what i mean, maybe more modern too.
>>71107847
this is interesting maybe the concept was lost on me.
>>71108437
i think it could've powerful at a shorter length.
>>71108437
Thats how I felt about it too. But it was definitely a little uncomfortable at first
DO IT

Try King Crimson - red

I'd recommend listening to Canterbury scene bands. Here's an album, even though not Canterbury scene one, I'd recommend.
