Esplendor Geométrico - Baraca

Thanks. I've been meaning to listen to Esplendor Geométrico for a while now.

They are the greatest. I'd suggest starting with Sheik Aljama (where Baraca is).
>>71081318
Yeah, Baraca is really good. It's like everything I thought Muslimgauze was going to be. (Not that I don't like Muslimgauze, but with a hundred or so releases you cannot expect consistent quality.) (And with some quick half-assed research, I should expect that the rest of Esplendor Geométrico is not going to sound like Muslimgauze. Which is okay in its own right, because I need to get into more "old-school" industrial or whatever.)

Probably Hedge Wizard or some other classic Dungeon Synth

The worst thing about threads like these is I see this as very warm and inviting and borderline heavenly, and it makes me think of artists like Gas or BWO, but everyone sees it as melancholic or creepy, so they'll post Slint or Boris. :/

Way to miss the point of that project

Their sound varies a lot throughout the discography. You could say Sheik is the happy medium between the early psichosis and the more recent maturity. Hope you enjoy it!

There's a joke here but it's too basic to grasp
>>71081529
Do you see the bacground darkness as inviting?
>>71081769
Sure, I love being all alone. In my dreams, I'm usually in very empty foggy or dark urban areas, and it's the most beautiful, wondrous thing. Just me, architecture, pretty lights and exploration that all feels as snuggly comfy as my real world blanket.
>>71081983
Well, if we are talking comfy and like classical music, I'd say go Satie:

Or Ravel, for something slightly livelier:

This album sounds like its cover, and its cover has the same color scheme as that image, so...

You seem to have perceived a cathartic, redemptive vibe from the image. Now I can see that as well. I expected to be linked this
