It's actually my favorite by them. But yeah it's different than their other stuff (almost like Olivia Tremor Control) so I can see why some fans might dislike it.

I was initially bored of the more mellow songs on TINE like Nowhere Lullaby and Things Fall Apart. I'll have to give the album another listen then.

I felt the same way, but it really grew on me over the years. It has a more mature and melancholy atmosphere than most of their other albums that helps differentiate it I feel.
