anything similar to iceage's first two albums? post-punk, high energy, catchy
doesn't have to be the exact same genre-wise, its more about the atmosphere
The Gun Club

I would suggest the Walk on Heads EP by Lower. Another Danish group with some fire. Their stuff after this EP is a little less high energy and is in fact pretty low energy stuff.

Also I might suggest anything under the last fm tag "mysterious guy hardcore".

what you want is basically goth OP.

Yeah, i am into post-punk and gothic rock and shit. Just looking for recommendations because theres a lot of garbage out there that takes time to sift through, now that this sound is sort of popular.
I really like shed by title fight as well and i think its similar to Iceage for some reason. I hear a lot of youth in both bands.

if you're looking for modern bands like Iceage, you're gonna have some tough luck i think. i'm sure you've heard protomartyr and ought, etc etc, but i can't think of something as iceage-y as iceage right now
the walkmen's earlier stuff had a similar vibe sonically. emotionally it's way lighter, though
