I'm not sure how to classify what the hardest drug I've done is but in terms of how much it fucked me up probably LSD.

Ket was a terrible idea as well. Cocaine I guess you could call hard but it doesn't exactly do a lot in comparison to other drugs.

well the only time i took it was after i walked for about 2 hours while drinking a 3 liter bottle of cheap cider at the ripe old age of 16, then when i finally sat down i did the ket off of the hand of a guy that claimed to be the actor who played anakin in the phantom menace and within 2 minutes i began throwing up out of his window where i stayed for a solid 90 minutes unable to move


so yeah bad first experience. also at festivals the amount of people i've seen that i genuinely had to check weren't dead and turned out to just be in a k-hold made me feel quite badly towards it.

just seems like a shitty drug to do when you could just have some MDMA and love everything for a few hours

As far as "hardest" drug? After having been a sort of connoisseur for over fifteen years they all have their own category. IMO considering a drug "hard" would depend on the context. I've pretty much tried everything (allegedly) short of a few things. I guess somebody that hasn't been exposed to the world that I have I'd say it's a tossup between freebase amphets and heroine(non-intravenous.)

I would say LSD, but I don't consider that a "drug" in the party sense. It is something to be experienced alone or with one other person.

started out doing a lot of pills through a loose family dr. then the dr moved away and pilled got expensive. realized coke is a pretty good substitute for ritalin, meth a good one for adderall, and heroins a good substitute for oxy/dilaudid/fent/methadone etc. also used to go quite a bit of psychedelics and used to make my own mescaline from a local ornamental cacti

Why do people take psychedelics? I have horrible night terrors or generally disturbing dreams on a fairly normal basis, so the idea of hallucinating scares me.
My dreams get so out of control I can't take sleep aids like melatonin because my dreams become overly vivid. Once I drank sleepy time chamomile tea before bed and the perceived time during my dream slowed the fuck down. I was asleep for maybe 6 hours before the dream got too disturbing and made me wake up, but I fucking swear I felt and perceived every second of those 6 hours.

I would never do psychs on my own though, I would have to have at least one or two of my friends there to keep my somewhat ground (even though they'd be tripping too). The only psych I'd do by myself is DMT but shrooms and acid I'd definitely need people that I feel I can trust wholly there.

That's not really true though.

MDMA gives you a huge emotional and sometimes physical comedown which lasts for weeks (sudden bouts of sadness or happiness while your serotonin levels get back to normal). Cocaine has almost no comedown whatsoever depending on how much you do.

Also with regards to the actual high, MDMA is massively different to cocaine. Cocaine is very subtle and you can get away with having it in any situation. People will just think you're confident unless they know you and you're a shy person usually, that's the only way they'll be able to tell something is up.

With MDMA your pupils dilate and you get a proper gurn which is pretty noticeable. People's faces just look slightly different when they're on MDMA as their jaw muscles tighten a lot.

They've got their similarities for sure, but both different drugs for different situations.

Does this really work?

I was really hesitant to take anything alongside LSD when I had it at a festival. I feel like that weird uncomfortable feeling you get as you start to come up and your brain starts processing what's in your stomach would be pretty scary on LSD.

Then the low points you get during the MDMA high I feel would surely be amplified.

I guess it's all about setting though. Doing it at a festival was my mistake after the trip went bad and there was nowhere quiet and/or safe to go.

Exactly, i would have freaked the fuck out if i wasn't super excited about LSD. I researched it, read a bunch of trip reports, fasted for a day, meditated and did it with experienced friends who share similar tastes in music. We also removed all furniture and replaced it with matresses on the floor, which felt absolutely amazing. I started using when I was 17, which was a turbulent time for me.
I never had any mental problems though, I remember being paranoid after pulling an all nighter (or two), or back when I used to smoke weed daily, but all that's gone now. I feel great actually.

I've never had a bad comedown from MDMA, but then I take pretty small doses and no more than once or twice a year. I've never ended an MDMA trip and thought "I need to get some more MDMA" like I have after a night-long coke binge.

I know the sensory differences are pretty big, but both coke and MDMA (in my experience, anyway) have given me that sense of community and togetherness with the people I'm around. It just opens me up emotionally.

I've only done it once, but it was with a close friend in a place I felt comfortable and an hour in we smoked a couple joints so we'd be baked for the come-up.

We peaked (in terms of visual hallucinations and shit) about three hours in, had a real heart-to-heart about some deep shit, and then just kind of went off into separate corners of the room to be alone with our thoughts. I guess that's pretty common for acid trips. We were in our heads enough by 6am that we went to a diner for breakfast and by then we were mostly in the post-peak haze.

It's not 12 hours straight of tripping, the come up starts around an hour/40 minutes in for most people, then the peak lasts a few hours and then you start coming down. It lasted like 7 or 8 hours for me in total, but it probably depends on dose. One tab shouldn't have you tripping balls for 12 hours straight tho, unless it's some weird research chemical

chances are it's not going to be as immediately detrimental to your mental and physical health as alcohol. tobacco typically kills you slowly over a long period of time, whereas alcohol can do it rather quickly in a multitude of ways. you don't really see people checking into a detox or a rehab for smoking cigarettes. actually, cigarette smoking is typically a condoned activity in recovery communities (of which i am familiar with).
