What is your criteria for the "perfect 10" album?
How do you rate your albums?
>>70967469
To be honest I never rate albums, I just like them or not.
on how much i enjoy them
most people here rate albums by waiting for fantano reviews
>>70967469
anything thats an 9 from me is something i can replay over and over anytime
8s are usually shit i know is good but i need to be in a certain mood to enjoy
everything is else is just a mix of the album having some good songs and bad ones.
>>70967469
If I can enjoy it no matter what mood I am in.
Basically every song has to be amazing on it's own and the all the songs need to come together extremely well. Sometimes you can't really achieve both, on Kid A, Treefingers isn't a really a standout track on it's own but in the context of the album it's great. Other than that. it needs replayability.
I don't really have a formula, I just get a certain feel when an album is a 10/10.

im sure theres some assortment of notes that could make a man cum endlessly for hours. that would be a 10
but for now ill just say ITAOTS would be a 10. just something thats highly enjoyable all the way through.

Number scores are barbaric

>How do you rate your albums?
I don't. Are you retarded or what?
>>70969584
>>70969503
y'all have anymore of that bait?
If I believe every song is 10/10 then the whole album is 10/10 like Apostrophe or At Action Park
>rating from 1 to 10
that's for plebs, patricians rates from 1 to 5
It does not exist
>>70967469
a perfect 10 album is a great album with a musical style thats never been done before that shapes an entire genre or more.
>>70971946
i hope there isn't anyone out there who follows this seriously because there's literally no difference at all
7/10 = 3.5/5
>>70972355
>decimals
10/10 marks the best time i've ever had with listening to an album and others that come close enough
or the albums that have the most songs, or individual moments that have this sort of addictive effect
i don't like deductive rating because i don't like nitpicking, it misses the point imo
>>70968268
i don't like that criteria either but you do you
