Robert Fripp has an autistic hatred of recording devices and forces his bandmates to record audio of themselves begging people not to bring cameras to live shows.

If you listen closely you can hear Fripp cocking the gun before each band member's line.
I think I threw them away, but I have the CDs on my desk
> We had to add another concert. I was alone on stage with the Frippertronics Eno had taught me to use. This had nothing to do with a rock’n’roll concert. We passed around tea and cookies to everyone and we had to confiscate cameras and tape recorders. The event was designed for the present, not for the past. It was one of the best days of my life.
>To come closer to the current times--Fripp on a solo tour hit my town in 1998. He was dreadfully put out by flash photography. He had been known to bail on shows on this tour if one flash went off in the crowd. At this show, a single flash in the balcony 30 minutes in caused him to slowly turn his gear off, and exit the stage without a word. He had to be coaxed back. (After that show, a friend saw him eating alone in a huge restaurant window. He took a large flash photo that lit up the window like a movie screen. Fripp may have lost five years of life in that moment). I saw him at a Projeckt 2 show later in the year, and saw him dressed in a scarf and overcoat (it was about 85 degrees that night), and I yelled “Hey Mr. Fripp, great show!” He saw he was recognized, and quickly scurried away.
>However, I'm knocking this down to two stars because, like The Nightwatch (a much better live album, by the way) it has the horrible, record destroying spectacle of Robert Fripp opening his mouth.
>"Lights Please" (in either form) is enough to make me turn off the CD and seriously consider throwing it out of the window. I have no idea why they would put this on a live album, let alone twice. OK, so they don't like people taking photos. That's what security is for, however, and if they have a "No cameras" rule it is fair enough to expect your hired goons to go and remove cameras from people. Stopping a show and turning the lights on the audience for several minute while Robert Fripp plays the insufferable prick is a step over the line - the audience here has paid to see you play, Robert, not act like a spoiled public schoolboy. Putting it on a live album - TWICE - is incomprehensible.
