Why always guitarfags (or any real instrumentsfags) say that any electronic music is "not music"? Explain yourselves.

I thinks it's a little more of generational thing. Older people, especially musicians, who are used to live instruments and subtle variations in playing can be put off by some of the repetitive loops in a lot of electronic genres.

Because 3 chord loop dities with verse-chorus-verse rock is less repetitive than Autechre right.

As a guitarfag, I wouldn't say that.

We've had this thread in the past couple of days. Are you going to continue spamming them into the oblivion?

People were saying the same things in the 80s (and maybe 70s) when synths started becoming popular. It's generally a fundamental misunderstanding of how they work, thinking that you can just press a button and the synth will make music for you. I haven't been able to find the quote but I read a quote by Gary Numan from the 80s that's something like
>if you could just push a button on a synth to automatically make a hit song, I'd be pressing it the most out of anyone

Did you read what I said?
>Older people, especially musicians, who are used to live instruments and subtle variations
The slight difference in dynamics and tempo sounds more pleasing to them. They're three chords, but they are played slightly different every time around because they are played by a human. I'm not saying one is better than the other though. Also most of the electronic stuff they hear isn't Autechre. It's like Zeffirelli or something.

Its weird, the shittier someone is at their instrument the more likely it is they hold this opinion. Its just them overcompensating for lack of musical skill by shitting on something else thats already been shit on for years
I don't think electronic music is not music but I also don't tend to like it
Feel free to recommend albums to prove me wrong.
