This. Probably a 2-3/10. Some ok tracks

bands like black sabbath got panned for being ugly, taking source material and obscuring it to no reasonable conclusion. the thing about music is, though, that it's just sound presented in a certain way.

to find a modern black sabbath, you'd have to think of an artist who has conventional genre appeal, ie "rock," and pushed the boundaries of that in a distasteful or borderline disrespectful way.

since hip hop is the sort of consensus peak of pop music in this decade, i'd start there.
