What do you think of Foals? Can you recommend something

Antidotes is their only good album.

Foals is one of my favorite bands so I'm glad to see them getting some love around here

IMO Total Life Forever is their best album but Antidotes is great too. I like the first half of Holy Fire and some of the songs on WWD (mostly the singles) but honestly their earlier work is much more consistent in quality.

My Number is good, but i prefer Blue Blood and Black Gold, I agree that TLF is their best, but other albums are not that bad too, Actually i find them good.

Have you ever listened to Local Natives? I love all of their albums but Gorilla Manor (their first one) is the most Foals-ish of the 3. I would definitely recommend their stuff

Yeah my top 5 would probably be in no particular order:

-Red Socks Pugie
-Afterglow
-Black Gold
-My Number
-Blue Blood

funny, I just listened to antidotes for the first time an hour ago. Not bad

Total Life Forever is where they totally lost their personality and transformed into your average run of the mill indie rock band. That's why I prefer Antidotes, which was energetic and incorporated dance-punk and math rock influences. It's also way more consistent. TLF drops hard after This Orient.

Local Natives are good, but i find them sometimes boring. Ill give a try to Gorilla Manor, couse i listened only their last one i think. Thanks.
