Why does it seem like there is a serious lack of RUSH fans on /mu/? Or am I just not seeing them?
>Inb4: it's cuz they're shit.
It's because all the posting of Christgau reviews scared them off. :^)

I see them all the time.
I'm a big fan. Seen them live 3 times and listened every album like 100 times. GOAT
Only thing that bothers me is that Neil used to be autistic piece of shit with his libertarian bs.

I love Rush. I've seen them 3 times ('06, '11, '15).
I think Hemispheres and Permanent Waves were their peak and they fell off after Power Windows and never really recovered. Vapor Trails is the only album after Power Windows that I really like.

I'm a Rush fan. 2112 is my favorite album.
>>70578422
I saw them '12 and '15
R40 was probably my favorite of the two
80's Rush is best Rush
Fight me

The s/t is underrated as hell

If by 80s Rush you mean Permanent Waves, Moving Pictures, Signals, Grace Under Pressure, and Power Windows, then ok.
I'm looking for more prog rock in the vein of Rush, anyone care to give a rec?

Presto maybe wasn't very good but it has a special place in my heart along with Roll The Bones

Roll The Bones was 1991
One of the few dadrock bands to still put out a good album in the 21st century. Helps being nerdcore music that isn't tied into being a hormonally stressed teenager.

Rush is great. I think Power Windows is their best.

true

I never said it wasn't

They're good and unless your baiting, most people agree. So there isn't much to discuss or debate about with them.
