Has anyone else here bought an ocarina in real life?
It's actually quite fun to play.
We made mediocre ones in an art class I took in high school. It was pretty fun to mess with but they of course weren't well made.
they're fun to play but the ones i got my hands on didn't make a very nice sound, like a crappy recorder. are they always like that or are there ocarina's with more pleasant acoustics?
Is there anything worth playing on it other than this?

desu just buy a flute. Ocarinas typically sound like shit, and you look retarded playing them
I prefer the Otamatone
How does it sound? I imagine they used it in Toto's Africa

I have two, they sound nothing like in the game.
I bought one a while back, you can get good quality ones on Amazon for less than €25. It's a lot of fun to play and it sounds p good desu
Watching YouTube videos I noticed the STL company being shilled a lot. Supposedly, if you buy one cheaper than $40 it won't play perfectly in tune. That might not be an issue if you don't have a good sense of pitch.
