Explain to me why you're not converting your FLAC files to OGG to get higher quality that MP3 at less or equal size.
>>70501441
Because I like being pretentious
>>70501441
coverting loses bitrates
I do that for my phone
>>70501441
because it's impossible to find FLAC files to everything in my library
>>70501441
Because I don't care
because I download my files in the ogg format already
>ogg
>not opus

FLAC uses lossless compression, while OGG is 'lossy'. What this means is that for each year the OGG sits on your hard drive, it will lose roughly 12kbps, assuming you have SATA - it's about 15kbps on IDE, but only 7kbps on SCSI, due to rotational velocidensity.

whoa, i didn't know that
how do i find out whether i have SATA, IDE, or SCSI?
