I LOVE this record. But from all the comments I have seen regarding it's fairly low ranking among other AnCo works, I felt like I could give you guys my 2 cents.

Step 1: Treat it like a pop album
I play this album in the background of a lot of daily tasks. Especially driving. When you do play it, take the time to learn the words and sing along. These melodies are infectious, seriously.

Step 2: Do not compare it to anything else AnCo!
It is NOT a new strawberry jam no matter how badly you want it to be! Do not even think about the different styles of musical writing when compared to something like Feels. It is apples to oranges.

Step 3: If you do partake in mind-altering substances, give it a nice shot with that.

Step 4: Hocketing is great and not gimmicky and your opinion is wrong if you disagree.
In all seriousness, the hocketing on this album showed me how innately trippy human speech is. Syllables slapping themselves around in a goddamn cage fight, Summing The Wretch is one of my all time favorite AnCo songs. Give it a try, let it wash you over with nonsense words!

This has been a small ranting from a kid who loves this album, and hopefully you will to!
