VLC can tag files? Why would anyone use any other program for anything?
Just double click on file and change extension name.

I've never bothered to use anything other than windows media player, but windows only lets me edit the tags of .mp3 files

It's the golden standard, my nigga

It's decent. I've got it installed on my PC but I can't find it for some reason and I don't feel too terribly motivated to track it down. I haven't used it in a while because my library is mostly obscure black metal and it's a pain trying to configure it to work properly with RYM and/or MetalArchives. I imagine for someone with a more conventional library would find it a lot more useful.

lol what am i missing? i'm not very tech savvy, just interested in listening to music

i just dont get it, i tagged my songs but they don't save to the actual file
>>70400907
that's because you're supposed to hit save or do a CTRL+S after you add the tags my dude.

i have been. all of my tags are saved inside of the program, but all my songs just show up as the file name in the player.
FFmpeg
