That's giving /mu/ a lot of credit. If that graph was actually consistent with real life there would be more music in the orange space than you could listen to in your entire lifetime if you count random unknown artists
>>
Does /mu/ talk about Barbra Streisand?
>>
>>70347622
Classical, soul, rnb, reggae, funk, most jazz that doesn't have rockist tendencies, most electronic music other than a handful of IDM/ ambient albums, most experimental and noise, country, blues...

The list is endless. Basically most /mu/tants can only tell you about the following:

-the past ~50 years of rock and pop music
-the past ~30 years of hip-hop
-the aforementioned electronic subgenres

Anything outside of that is alien.
>>
>>70347622
Artists that came after the birth of the scene
Mucore is weighted towards the inovators rather than the whole genres

Also classical, jazz and various experimental genres
>>
>>70347761
no they don't but I actually kinda like her
>>
>>70347622
Cheap Trick
>>
>>70347622
Neo-prog
>>
>>70347622
lesser known equivalents of less known bands rym says are good
>>
That orange slice is absurdly large.
For the most part /mu/ doesn't give a shit about music.
