Why is Orbital (The Brown Album) the only Orbital album /mu/ ever talks about when pic related is clearly their magnum opus?

m8 that's one of my fav albums ever
i don't really care that much for the box, but the rest is 10/10
The cover looks like a goa trance album cover.
I guarantee you it would have been talked as much as Tri Repetae or RDJ Album if the cover was some futurist minimalist design instead of a bunch of neon doodles.

it gives a good description of what the album sounds like though
I'm bumping this just cuz no-one ever talks about Orbital and this album is amaze
hey, the nineties called, they're running out of shitty music!
^ what did he mean by this?
In Sides > Brown Album > The Middle of Nowhere > Green Album > Snivilisation > Wonky > The Altogether > Blue Album

Good thread OP!
In Sides is also my favorite overall Orbital album.
To answer your question, Orbital 2 is a bit louder and anticipates contemporary EDM that normies like. Just something simple like how tracks 3-6 form a seamless mesh and are basically a sick DJ set, unto themselves. Orbital 2 also contains the group's signature track, which is Halcyon. Nobody doesn't like that song.
